Welcome
I am a contemporary fiber artist who loves color and texture. Following a career in Education, I began my own business where I designed, published, and marketed traditional quilt patterns. While continuing to appreciate the more traditional style of quilt making, I began searching for a more intuitive way of creating with fabric and fiber. I had the wonderful opportunity to study with Ricky Tims in La Veta, Colorado in 2007, and he became the catalyst for my fiber art journey.
Today, I include fabric dying and painting, screen printing, stamping, monoprinting, and embellishing in my surface design techniques as I create my fiber art. My work has been juried into several fiber shows in my home state of Texas, and my work is in both private and corporate collections. Currently, I am represented by Copper Shade Tree Gallery.
